A big thank you to those people who have given a school donation. We appreciate your willingness to offer support in this way. The school donations allow us to have extra layers of support in the school such as the Teacher Assistants and Admin Staff. This makes the teaching and learning experience more effective for your child and the other children in the school. Thank you!
Partnerships with teaching staff
Thank you for making the effort to come along to the Learning Conferences last week. As staff we really appreciated and enjoyed the time we were able to spend with you and your child to build a deeper understanding of your child and develop a collective understanding of your child’s needs moving forward through the year. A reminder that the teaching staff are a phone call, email or conversation away. If you ever have any questions, concerns or areas you would like us to reinforce at school please don’t hesitate to make contact.

Union Meeting – 20th March
The staff will be attending a Paid Union Meeting on March 20 at 1.30pm. The purpose of this meeting is to look at the terms for the upcoming contract negotiations. We believe with the current climate in education these negotiations are of utmost importance for the good of our country’s education system, so our staff would like to attend. If you can pick your children up at 1pm on March 20 that would be a wonderful way to show your support for teachers and the service they provide for the children of New Zealand. We will have one or two members of staff remain at school for those children who have no way of being collected. Kindly RSVP to the office
if you can’t pick your child up, this will allow us to allocate the number of staff on.Selwyn Sports Spectacular – Year 3 & 4 Only
